It all started when…
Little Global Dragonflies is a community-based therapeutic arts and wellness program supporting
children and families through multicultural art, emotional development, mindfulness, and cultural
education. The program integrates creative expression, movement, and holistic wellness practices to
nurture confidence, resilience, and global awareness. Over five years, the organization will expand into
a sustainable social enterprise offering school partnerships, wellness programs, educator trainings, and
licensed curriculum models.

Erica Brannon is a dedicated community doula, educator, and founder of The Goddess
Treatment, a wellness initiative that empowers mothers, children, and families through
holistic support, therapeutic art, and cultural healing practices. Based in Long Beach,
California, Erica brings over 15 years of experience in prenatal and parenting education,
birth support, and community health.
Her professional journey began at the Salvation Army White Shield Teen Mothers
Residential Treatment Center in Portland, Oregon, where she served as a Site Community
Doula and Parenting Mentor. Since then, Erica has worked to uplift young mothers and
families through compassionate care, education, and creative expression.
Erica holds multiple certifications including ICTC and Birth Arts International Doula
Certifications, an Early Childhood Development Certificate of Achievement, and credentials
in African and African American Community Health Work, Somatic Movement Instruction,
and Infant and Child CPR. Her work emphasizes empowerment, cultural awareness, and
healing through movement, mindfulness, and art.
In 2025, Erica was honored with the Women of Distinction Award for founding Little Global
Dragonflies, a community-based children’s therapeutic art program that nurtures emotional
growth and global awareness through creative exploration.
Through her ongoing work, Erica continues to advocate for accessible, culturally rooted
wellness and family care, inspiring others to embrace healing, community, and holistic
growth.
