Join Black Humboldt & Queer Humboldt for Black Brunch & Ball, a vibrant afternoon of ballroom culture, queer performance, brunch, community, and celebration.
This special event will showcase Jamari Amour of the House of Marc Jacobs and the House of Balmain, a celebrated ballroom artist, father, voguer, dancer, choreographer, and Season 1 winner of Legendary with the House of Balmain. Jamari’s work carries the brilliance of ballroom: chosen family, high fashion, performance, resilience, and the unapologetic power of Black and Brown queer creativity. Expect your local favorites as well!
Guests can expect a lively and expressive experience featuring a variety of Queer performances; Vogue, Dance, Drag and more! All ballroom-inspired energy, music, community connection, and joy on full display. This gathering is designed to honor the legacy and living future of ballroom and Black queer artistry.
Brunch will be available through Mother’s Cooking Experience, with brunch tickets sold separately. A bar will also be available for guests 21+ with valid ID.
This is a mature-audience event. Youth ages 15 and up may attend when accompanied by an adult.
