Join us on the Arcata Plaza for a celebration and community! The plaza will be bustling with lawn games, a 200 foot zip line, climbing wall, free tacos for current Humboldt State University students, and more!

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Chulita Vinyl Club (CVC), Mestizo Beat, and our very own Marching Lumberjacks. The CVC was launched in 2014 as an all-girl, all-vinyl club for self-identifying womxn of color in the context of providing a space for empowerment and togetherness. The group says that “we stand united as a female DJ collective spanning seven national chapters bringing together a community of vinyl-loving girls.” Mestizo Beatt is a collective of musicians based out of Los Angeles who compose and perform music influenced by the early 1970’s era of funk, soul, afro-beat, and afro-cuban genres.
