The Home Alone Project (HAP)

APPLICATION CLOSED until Dec 2024

The Home Alone Project supports Black people residing in Humboldt County who will be alone for the beginning of the winter season between Dec. 21 - 27, 2024.

The Home Alone Project (HAP) was created to acknowledge that many Black people are transplanted here for work or school and are not able to travel home for the holidays due to the plight of Black America and the current state of the U.S. HAP offers a free cooked meal and small gifts.

Back to School Success Kits

Black Humboldt is equipping BIPOC students, in Humboldt County with their own back to school success kits. For students of all ages identifying as Black, African American, African, Afro Latiné, Afro, Afro Caribbean or from anywhere within the African Diaspora.
